Chiropractic Helps Suffering Infant. A case study and literature review

Although this may not be news to our readers, there are many people who are still unaware that chiropractic has an established history of positively influencing the quality of life for infants and children… and therefore their families, that goes at least as deep as the mainstream opinion that chiropractors are “ache, pain and movement” doctors.

The following link summarizes a recent case study of an 8 month old.

Resolution of Severe Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, Chronic Constipation, Sleep Disturbance & Developmental Delays Following Chiropractic in an Infant with Birth Trauma: A Case Report & Selective Review of the Literature

You can access a summary here where it will also offer a link to the case study for those interested in more details.

This has been a special area of interest for me, having done an additional year of continuing education immediately after graduating Chiropractic College.  In 1996 I became a Fellow of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association so that I could be a greater asset to our pregnant moms and youngest community members.

When the nervous system is interfered with it can have devastating consequences for anyone… infants and children included.  Chiropractors have been working to help ALL family members express their best health and potential since 1895, and we’ve been doing our little part for our Brooklin and surrounding community since 1995.
