Ode to Tucker: Our Pup Turns 16 on May 4th
Hail noble Tucker, wise and grey,
Who graces us with sixteen years this Star Wars Day!
On fourth of May, when lightsabers gleam,
A special canine birthday to celebrate and esteem.
A long time ago in a galaxy not so far away,
You joined our practice, decided to stay.
Now, like young Skywalker with his first X-Wing,
You’ve reached the age where driving is a thing!
The Force is strong with you, old friend,
Your loyal heart, on which we all depend.
More powerful than any Death Star’s might,
Is how your love fills our days with light.
So raise a treat to Tucker’s noble soul!
Sixteen years of making our life whole.
May your treats be plentiful, your naps be deep,
And may the Force of love around you keep.
For in dog years, you’re ancient and wise,
A Jedi Master before our very eyes.
Yet puppyhood still flickers in your play,
As we celebrate your special Star Wars Day.
